Friday 16th Recap

Man... Nhl looked like it was going to be a good night Nashville came through in a great game Rinne was a stud! (no homo)
Phoenix had the lead early  then the game turned into a shoot out.  About 8 minutes or so to go i thought it was gonna make it to OT but no luck, perfect rebound right to Zetterberg to take the 5-4 lead. yotes lose and it didn't get to OT ..really i shouldn't have chased again with the yotes, take the dog in game 1, if it wins lay off in game 2.
Ottawa and Pittsburgh game was fast pace, but the goalies were holding fort! this series is going to be intense.

I'm thinking the Preds will come out hitting, playing big to tire out these younger smaller hawks and getting in front of Niemi and playing some greasy hockey. Sure this is the young Hawks second run at Lord Stanley and they have Marion Hossa but i think there is just too much value on the Preds who sport a 23-15-1-2 road record    Chicago has great fans and atmosphere at home but with 80% of the public on Chicago i'll take my chance . Pekka Rinne is 13-5-1 as a underdog.  and after the other games 1's i'd be weary of laying any juice over -150

I like the coyotes here to to get another "w" to take to  Detroit with them. Yotes are 14-3 in their last 17 games as a home underdog.Both teams will be desperate for this win. Detroit doesn't want to be down 2 going back home and im sure the yotes feel as if they will need to be 2-0 goin back to the motor city if they want this series.

Thursday Recap April 15th

Started the day off on the wrong side of a 8-0 ass whooping the Twins put on the Bosox, Liriano was fire with a sick slider.I was originally leaning with Twins but changed my mind before the game cause i seen a few Reputable people on the Sox my fault gotta go with the gut. Sticking to baseball Parlays what can i say... neither team won  at least, if that makes it better. Whats that word im looking for Morency?...oh yea FUCK!  no more parlays for me .
The Braves fade myself special came through. Started off the game with a HR and have a 3-0 in the 5th till SD scores 2 getting within one  but Rookie sensation Heyward knocks his 2nd double of the game and Atl goes on for the 6-2 win.

Awesome games today if you like defense and great goal tending, Bos/Buff  went pretty much how you'd think with these 2 teams. Are we going to see a 4.5?? Miller could have had a shutout if it wasnt for a bad rebound.

last game these 2 met LA lit the lamp 8 times! all against Louongo now i highly doubt that will happen again but they know they can score on Lou. One thing i've noticed is that Jonathan Quick has been shaky since coming back from the olympics and the birth of his first child.i wouldnt be surprised if Bernier or Ersberg seen time between the pipes this series. Vancouver are 6-3 to the over playing on 3 days rest or more and are coming off of a 7-1 victory in Calgary.The Nucks defense is still banged up with Salo questionable and they will be with out penalty killer and good shot blocker Ryan Johnson.I think both teams will get theirs

Josh Hamilton doubled home Julio Borbon in the first inning, Nelson Cruz hit his sixth homer of the season in the 3rd. Cleveland was down ealry and couldn't get there bats going managing only 5 hits to Texas' 15 . Colby Lewis struck out 10 over 5 1/3 innings. Indians cut the lead in half in the 6th but that's where it stopped.

How bout them Coyotes ! had their power play rolling and solid defensive play pulled out another 1 goal game. Finished the night 2-1 +1 unit. I knew i shouldnt have messed with that parlay Sharks.....wow i guess you cant say you didnt see that coming..and the devils they played solid but couldnt find the back of the net. Kovy was all over but doesnt seem like he's on the same page as zach parise and others ,But they gotta let Kovy do his thing and Know their roles can't have too many cooks in the kitchen ya know...the fans in NJ seem lackluster too,only really cheered when they finally scored...gotta pump up your team fans!
The Sens/Pen game went somewhat how i expected, except i thought Penguins would have won. Fast pace high scoring had the over covered in the 2nd got to enjoy the rest of the game.

The yotes what can you say not many would have put them where they are, now it seem everyone is doubting the dogs. since 94' the no 4 seed is 21-9 vs 5 seed is the opening series which is almost or as good as 1vs8 which it pretty surprising. But phoenix has the goaltending and poise to get deep plenty of ot/so victories used to those tight games.If phoenix is going to win this series though they had better win one of these 2 at home .The Coyotes are 13-5 in their last 18 overall, and finished the season 29-12 at Home

I dont know about you guys but Nhl playoff season makes me go from 6 to midnight if you know what im sayin...messed up my regular season on the last day going 1-4 to finish with 229-229-5 -6.68 units... but lets get into it i got a little 4 pack going for odds to win the stanley cup 2 from the west 2 from the east

Ricky Romero hasnt faced the sox but started off last season strong tailing off near the end but was in the running for Rookie of the year in my mind,his first start was quality givin up a run on a pitch in the dirt ended with a no desicion but i think he has another strong start as the jays usual open the season with wins and we know what happens by the end recommend 1 unit play on the Jays.

Jeff Niemann and Orioles left-hander Brian Matusz face off late tonight, i see the rays and nieman winning this one Matusz the rookie had a nice outing last tuesday against the rays but was short outing going only 5 inning due to a high pitch count but had 7k's. while Niemann was forced out after 1 1/3rd inings after gettin hit in the arm with a line drive. i think Rays hitting gets the better of the rookie on the 2nd time around.
