Left hander Ricky Romero takes the mound today against Gavin Floyd and the Chicago White Sox Floyd is 0-3 with a 7.64 ERA vs Toronto. Ricky Romero hasnt faced the sox but started off last season strong tailing off near the end but was in the running for Rookie of the year in my mind,his first start was quality givin up a run on a pitch in the dirt ended with a no desicion but i think he has another strong start as the jays usual open the season with wins and we know what happens by the end recommend 1 unit play on the Jays.

Jeff Niemann and Orioles left-hander Brian Matusz face off late tonight, i see the rays and nieman winning this one Matusz the rookie had a nice outing last tuesday against the rays but was short outing going only 5 inning due to a high pitch count but had 7k's. while Niemann was forced out after 1 1/3rd inings after gettin hit in the arm with a line drive. i think Rays hitting gets the better of the rookie on the 2nd time around.
